We arrived at late Friday and were lucky to find a place like Bento Box on George that still served hot food. While it was a take away order, the food was prepared with care and their attention to details was a standout for us. We went back the other day and tried few more different dishes - all was very delicious & tasty! Definitely recommended!

We arrived pretty late into Launceston on a Monday and this was the only place with the kitchen still open. They were full when we walked in, family of five. Fortunately a table was just ready to leave. Though casual the menu is extensive with Bento, sushi rolls, a great selection of extras to share. Our food came within a few minutes, so even our "starving" kids didn't have long to wait. The food was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend Bento Box for a casual meal in Launceston. The cheapest Japanese we have had for a very long time.

Great service! The lady was very kind and respectful. The food was some of the best Japanese food i have ever had and much better quality than i expected from a restaurant chain. Highly recommend!!

We enjoy the 3 selection Dinner box with fried chicken, salmon sashimi and fried prawns. The tempura mushrooms are also excellent. These guys are consistently great, especially for the price.
